Three private 55-minute sessions
A short course of study for musicians who want time to apply the work between meetings.

TEN-SESSION PACKAGE
Ten private 55-minute sessions
A longer course of private study with room to develop, apply, and refine the work over time.
Reserve a recurring weekly or biweekly appointment for the duration of the package.

ANNUAL PRIVATE STUDY
Forty-four private 55-minute sessions at a protected weekly time
Annual private study grew out of requests from long-term students who wanted a protected weekly time and consistent lessons without continually scheduling the next appointment.
Your enrollment reserves 44 consecutive lesson dates on Curt’s published teaching calendar. Curt’s planned non-teaching weeks are shown on that calendar and do not count toward the 44 sessions.
Annual enrollment can begin at any point during the year.
The enrollment period begins with your first scheduled session and concludes on the forty-fourth scheduled lesson date. Depending on your starting date and Curt’s planned non-teaching weeks, the enrollment may span slightly less or more than 12 calendar months.
Any eligible makeup sessions remaining after the forty-fourth scheduled lesson date must be completed during the following 30 days, subject to availability. Your protected weekly appointment ends on the forty-fourth scheduled lesson date unless you renew.
If annual private study interests you, begin with a 15-minute Zoom conversation. We’ll discuss your goals and schedule. If it feels like a fit, we’ll choose your protected weekly time and you’ll complete payment before the first session.

WHO COACHING IS FOR
Curt works with musicians at all levels and across different instruments.
The common thread is a desire to practice with greater direction and turn musical ideas into usable skills.
SCHEDULING, RESCHEDULING, AND EXPIRATION
Package pricing requires consistent scheduling. Three- and ten-session packages are scheduled weekly or biweekly. Annual private study includes a protected weekly appointment.
New appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
With at least 24 hours’ notice, students may cancel or reschedule one appointment in a three-session package, three in a ten-session package, and four during annual study.
Makeups are subject to availability and must occur before expiration. Late cancellations and missed appointments count as used sessions.
Three-session packages expire 90 days after purchase. Ten-session packages expire 300 days after purchase.
Annual private study reserves 44 consecutive lesson dates on Curt’s published teaching calendar. The protected weekly appointment ends on the forty-fourth scheduled lesson date. Eligible makeup sessions must be completed during the following 30 days, after which all remaining sessions expire. Unused sessions do not roll over.
Sessions canceled by Curt will be replaced without affecting the student’s balance or rescheduling allowance. If necessary, the expiration date will be extended to accommodate the replacement.
Students must renew before their current package or annual enrollment period ends to retain a recurring appointment.
ANNUAL CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
A student may end annual private study early by emailing Curt.
Completed sessions, missed appointments, and late cancellations will be recalculated at the single-session rate in effect when the annual enrollment was purchased. For current enrollments, that rate is $95. Any remaining balance will be refunded, and future appointments will be released.
If the recalculated amount equals or exceeds the original payment, no refund will remain and no additional balance will be charged.
DO I NEED A FORGE MEMBERSHIP?
No. Forge membership and private coaching are separate.
Curt may recommend a Forge course or resource when it supports your work, but access is purchased separately.
WHAT IS PRIVATE COACHING NOT DESIGNED FOR?
Private coaching is not intended for equipment setup, synthesizer programming, or open-ended technical troubleshooting.
